Privacy Policy

How PartnerScope collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data.

Summary: PartnerScope is a EU-based service. We collect only the data necessary to provide the assessment service. Your assessment data and reports are private — only visible to you. We do not sell your data. You have full rights over your data under GDPR.

Section 01

Who We Are

PartnerScope is operated by EKM Global Consulting, represented by Elshan Musayev. The service is available at partnerscope.eu.

For the purposes of EU data protection law (GDPR), EKM Global Consulting is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Section 02

Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plaintext password)
  • Account creation date and time
  • Preferred language (EN / DE / RU)

2.2 Assessment Data

When you run an assessment, we collect:

  • The name or label you give to the person being assessed
  • Context text you provide about the partnership (optional, entered by you)
  • Your answers to the 39 assessment questions (numerical ratings 1–5)
  • The calculated risk score and dimension scores
  • The date and time the assessment was created and completed

Important: The person you are assessing does not provide any data to PartnerScope. All assessment data is based entirely on your own observations and answers. The assessed person is not contacted, notified, or identified to PartnerScope in any way beyond the name you provide.

2.3 Numerology & Face Reading Data

  • Numerology: Full name and date of birth you enter for analysis.
  • Face Reading: Photos you upload are processed by AI and are not stored permanently — they are deleted after the analysis is generated.

2.4 Payment Data

When you make a payment, billing is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We receive and store:

  • Payment status (succeeded / failed / cancelled)
  • Plan purchased (Single Assessment or Unlimited)
  • Transaction ID from the payment provider
  • Date and amount of transaction

2.5 Technical Data

When you use the service, we automatically collect:

  • IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type (desktop / mobile)
  • Pages visited and time spent (anonymised)
  • Error logs (to diagnose and fix technical issues)

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for — assessments, reports, account management, payment processing.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Security monitoring, fraud prevention, technical error logging, and service improvement.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Retention of transaction records as required by applicable tax and commercial law.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): For any optional communications (e.g. product newsletters) where we explicitly ask for your consent.

Data Storage & Retention

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or tracking technologies.

Cookies

PartnerScope uses a minimal number of cookies — only those strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The relevant authority depends on your country of residence. For Germany: Bundesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz (BfDI).

Section 09

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure:

  • All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
  • Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — never in plaintext
  • Database access is restricted to authenticated application processes only
  • Servers are hosted in a secured EU data centre (Hetzner, Germany)
  • Authentication tokens are stored securely and expire automatically
  • Rate limiting is applied to prevent brute-force attacks

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay, as required by GDPR Article 33–34.

Section 10

Children's Privacy

PartnerScope is not directed at or intended for use by persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make significant changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify registered users by email for material changes

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of PartnerScope after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
